In lieu of my recent poll where I asked people if they own a PlayStation Vita, I am amazed that I never made a poll about the PlayStation Portable. So I apologize in posting this poll so late, but now I have the chance to finally ask the member of this forum.

Back when Corpse Party or Corpse Party: Book of Shadows was released, did you bought the PlayStation Portable just to play it? Or did you play it on your Vita? If you have played Corpse Party "by other means," please select "No opinion."

Also, just for clarification, "Corpse Party [BS]" means "Corpse Party and/or Corpse Party: Book of Shadows."

I actually bought myself the PlayStation Portable 2000 when it was on sale at a local Circuit City that was going out of business, so it was like 25% - 45% off the regular price. I decided to finally bite because I eventually wanted it to play Mega Man Powered Up because I was on a huge Mega Man kick at the time.

And it was even sweeter when Corpse Party was announced five years later.

When you and your girl weren't ready for what happened next.

I've had a PSP since it came out, I had to replace it one or five times, but I always made sure to have one since I use it for music as well. Now that I think about it, I only bought Corpse Party because it was an impulse buy while I was browsing the games section on said PSP, I was just looking for something anime like to splurge on cuz I had extra money in my account XD
A tumblr? What's that? Can I eat it?
Would you leave your lives to chance? What if I told you...you didn't have a choice?
Swiggity Swag, Akihiko's in the bag!

Have y'all seen my business card yet?

I voted for the second option, "I bought a PSP just to play Corpse Party". While I technically didn't buy it JUST for Corpse Party, since I had wanted a PSP for some time due to all the good RPGs that had released on it in the past couple years, Corpse Party was the thing that really drove me to purchase one. Before Corpse Party's announcement, I was figuring I'd get it sometime in the not-so-distant future, though I had no specific date in mind; could've been a couple months, or could've been another year. I got greatly interested simply based on the first screenshot I saw of the game. I mean, I wasn't completely sold since I knew next to nothing about the game, but the aestetics greatly appealed to me. When I found out it was a Horror game with RPG-like exploration, I was near-sold, since RPGs and Horror are two of my favorite game genres, then when I saw the game's two trailers, I knew I needed to get the game as soon as possible. I'm not normally one to impulse buy either; last time I remember doing so was buying a PS1 for Final Fantasy VII back when I was 8 or so.

As I tend to do with bigger purchases, I checked to see if there was any way to save a bit of money due to any sales or holidays within the general timeframe of my planned purchase, and found that I could save something like $30-40 with black Friday sales. It kinda sucked having to wait an extra week (usually, I barely even mind an extra wait of even a couple weeks, but it had also been quite awhile since I had anticipated a game as much as Corpse Party), though I still enjoyed the game just as much when I finally got to play it.

Tight on cash, so I'm trading in some old DVDs for store credit. Getting a PSP in return. I also got a couple anime sets and a leather-bound collection set of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's works. <3 (I'm a dedicated English major.)

I got it yesterday, but it was totally trashed. The worker is sending me a replacement in my next shipment; I make trades with her a lot.

But...yeah, I'm getting it just for Corpse Party. XD I mean, I'm aiming to get a spacy emory card to get more games as I feel, but these games are just too good. I can't resist~

The horror.
I never wanted a PSP until I saw the trailer for Corpse Party on YouTube randomly one day. None of the games were worth purchasing the PSP for me. I do enjoy my vita though since now the few PSP games I wanted to play are available for me to buy on PSN.

The friendly Tiger that LOVES to RP =^,..,^=

I bought my PSP 3000 shortly before the Vita came out.

Figured that would be the best time to catch up on all of the games I was missing that everyone was talking about.

Finding Corpse Party...well my story is similar to Diabolic's. I was just kinda scrolling through PSN for anything that might interest me. I saw the word "Corpse" which cause my eye since I like horror games. Then I saw Ayumi when the image loaded up and I said "Anime game! I'm getting this!"
Would you like to help support my gaming habit? (and get free stuff for yourself as well)

I bought my PSP before BCRF came out, on a whim, because it was the FF VII 10th Anniversary/Crisis Core bundle.
